Why Installing the GSPK Dual Fuel System makes sense for you
Fuel Cost savings
There are significant financial advantages when adding LPG to your diesel engine. For most HGV operators fuel is 40% of operating costs, and of course prices just keep going up and up. By adding LPG to an engine and reducing the amount of diesel consumed you can save anything between 10% and 20% on your fuel bills.
The fuel calculator page will help you to estimate just how much you could save per year on your running costs; why not give it a try now?
Emissions
LPG has a number of environmental benefits over diesel.
CO2: Each litre of LPG has a lower carbon content than diesel, so for the same amount of fuel consumed less CO2 will be emitted to the atmosphere.
Particulates: Less Diesel used means less particulate matter being exhausted into the atmosphere.
Performance:
There is a slight improvement in engine performance when LPG is added.
Most of the time this helps to improve fuel efficiency because you change gear less often and can use a higher gear ratio, but extra flexibility also comes in useful when you need to pull away on a hill to overtake a slower vehicle.
However, the system is carefully mapped to ensure that there is no increase in maximum power or torque, protecting the engine and drive train from damage.
