GSPK Multifuel Technology has been nominated for the title of ‘LPG/Diesel Technology Company of the Year 2007’ by the Institute of Transport Management.
The impact of high fuel prices on hauliers is a major issue for them, and there are few more crucial concerns than the environment. This award addresses both of these topics.
There are several factors being considered by the awarding body, including the system’s failsafe operation, its lack of impact on the engine, and the elimination of any potentially damaging increase in maximum power or torque. Of course, the key features of the system are the cost savings (typically around 15%) and the reduction of harmful emissions, including a cut in carbon dioxide of over 8%.
Not only is the system proven on the road by major hauliers who are enjoying the fuel cost savings, but the system has also been extensively independently tested on the rolling road chassis dynamometer at mi Technology in Leyland.
David Abbott, managing director of GSPK Multifuel Technology, observed: “This is a highly prestigious award from a leading body which monitors standards in the industry, and it is a real honour to be nominated.”
“Hauliers face many challenges, and we are pleased to offer them a product that not only helps them but helps the environment at the same time. Receiving this nomination tells us that all the hard work that we are putting into developing and promoting the product is paying off.”
“Nothing is as powerful as a recommendation from a satisfied customer, and it is fantastic to be recognised for the benefits we are delivering to them.”
